MINUTES OF THE HUt=O PLANN I NC;_ CCIMI" 1 I_SS 1 gN MEETING MAY 24, 1995. <br />The regular meeting was called to order by Vice Chairman Agness at 7:OOPM. <br />PRESENT: Miltz-Miller, Agness, Schumann, Rubenzer, Malaski, Kellison, <br />Administrator Museus, Carole LaBelle <br />ABSENT: Peltier <br />Motion made by Kellison, seconded by Miltz-Miller to approve the minutes <br />of April 26, 1995, as amended. <br />All aye, motion passed. <br />Motion made by Schumann, seconded by Kellison, to approve the minutes of <br />May 10, 1995 as amended. <br />All aye, motion passed. <br />Motion made by Kellison, seconded by Miltz-Miller to table action on the <br />minutes of May 17, 1995, until the June 28, 1995 meeting. <br />All aye, motion passed. <br />SUBDIVISION REQUEST - DARL._E:-NE NORR I S <br />Ms. Darlene Norris, 5812 147th St., Has requested to subdivide her <br />property into two parcels. This property is currently zoned SFU and <br />public water, sewer, and storm sewer- is available. Both parcels will meet <br />the minimum dimension requirements of the City but the subdivision will <br />create a non conforming use for a stied located to the rear of Ms.. Norris' <br />property. City ordinance requires a 50' rear- yard setback. If the new <br />property line is approved the existing shed will be located 10.6 feet from <br />the rear property line of Parcel B. Staff recommends approval of this <br />request subject to special conditions. <br />Ms. Norris provided the City with a letter from her attorney indicating <br />that she is the only fee owner of the property to be subdivided. She also <br />stated she would remove the storage building from the newly created lot to <br />conform with City_ ordinance. There was no comment from the general <br />public. <br />Motion made by Kellison, seconded by Rubenzer to recommend approval of the <br />request of Darlene Norris, to subdivide .5 acres into two parcels which is <br />bordered by 148th St. on the north and 147th St. on the south as proposed <br />in preliminary survey dated April 26, 1995. <br />All aye, motion passed. <br />SPEC I AL_ USE PERM I T - THOMAS WALSH <br />Mr. Thomas, 56.55 165th St. North, has resubmitted an application for a <br />special use permit to store and process firewood at the above address. A <br />previous application for this special use permit was denied by the City <br />Council on April 3, 1995 in response to the Planning Commission's <br />recommendation.
