The Hugo Planning Commission was called to order by Chairman Peltier at <br />/:04PM. <br />PRESENT: Agness, Schumann, Rubenzer, Malaski, Kellison, Peltier, <br />Administrator Museus, Carole LaBelle <br />Motion made by Kellison, seconded by Agness to approve the minutes of <br />August 24, 1994. <br />Steve & Chris Sadowski, 20370 Enfield Ct. No., Forest Lake, have requested <br />a special use permit to construct a pole building on their property <br />located on Outlots A, C, and D of the Wunderlich Hills Subdivision prior <br />to construction of a home on the property. The Sadowski's intend to <br />construct the pole building this fall to provide storage for construction <br />materials to be used in the construction of their home in the spring of <br />1995. <br />Steve Sadowski stated that the building would have wood siding and a brick <br />front' His builder estimated eight months to complete the home, but <br />should be substantially completed by October 1, 1995. The public hearing <br />was opened and closed without public input. <br />After a brief discussion the followinq motion was made by Aqness, seconded <br />by Malaski to recommend approval of the request of Steve and Chris <br />ladowski, for a special use permit to construct an accessory structure <br />prior to a principal residence subject to the following conditions: <br />1. Construction of the home on the site is to be substantially completed <br />by October 1st, 1995. <br />2. Property owners are to post a letter of credit or cash in the amount <br />of $5,000 with the City to insure completion of the home. Security <br />shall be returned to the property owner upon issuance of the <br />certificate of occupancy for the home or be forfeited to the City if <br />the property owners do not live up to the terms and conditions of the <br />sup. <br />3. The pole building is be used for the storage of building materials <br />related to the construction of the home on site and for other <br />residential storage purposes only. <br />4. No commercial activity of any sort will be allowed on site. <br />All aye, motion passed. <br />Berdette Berntson, 12686 <br />Ethan <br />Ave. <br />North, <br />has applied <br />to subdivide 27.8 <br />acres of agriculturally <br />zoned <br />property <br />in <br />the southeast <br />quarter of the <br />southeast quarter <br />of <br />Section <br />31, <br />T31, R21W, <br />into one lot <br />of 17.29 acres <br />and one lot <br />of 10.53 <br />acres. <br />The <br />subdivision <br />has been reviewed <br />and <br />approved by <br />the Rice <br />Creek Watershed. <br />Tract <br />A is the site <br />of an existing <br />'esidence. <br />The City <br />has not <br />received <br />verification <br />from <br />Washington County <br />regarding the <br />suitability <br />of <br />Tract <br />B for <br />a septic site. <br />
