MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS <br />OF THE <br />HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION <br />June 25, 1986 <br />The regular meeting was called to order by Chairman Atkinson at 7:03PM. <br />PRESENT: Schoeller, Fashingbauer, Bob Olson, Ray Olson, Rudisill, Atkinson <br />Motion made by Bob Olson to approve the minutes of June 11, 1986, seconded <br />by Rudisill. All aye, motion carried. <br />The regular meeting was recessed and the Jasinski public hearing called <br />to order at 7:05PM. <br />Elsie Jasinski - public hearing - No public was in attendance to comment. <br />The Jasinski public hearing was closed and the Harstad public hearing was <br />called to order at 7:30 PM. <br />Harstad/Merila - public hearing - Keith Harstad and Jim Merila presented <br />a revised subdivision of approximately 25 acres along Egg Lake Rd. east <br />of Highway 61. The new proposal includes 48 homesites with the balance of <br />the 80 acres remaining as open space. Mr. Walter Scherer was concerned <br />about the possibility of sewer and water passing his property at 6265 Egg <br />Lake Rd. if the development continued. Mr. Tim O'Connell stated he was <br />not as originally concerned because he felt Harstad had a good reputation <br />in the area of neighborhood development. <br />The Public hearing was closed at 8:00 PM and the regular meeting was recon- <br />vened. <br />Jasinski - Motion made by Atkinson, seconded by Fashingbauer to recommend <br />approval of the subdivision for Elsie Jasinski to divide one ten acre <br />parcel into two five acre parcels with the following conditions; <br />1. Perc test be submitted for two parcelswith no tests on file. <br />2. City can verify the required easement is of record and recorded at <br />Washitgton County. <br />3. The two five acre parcels in the center be recombined as one ten acre <br />parcel or if they are left as four five acre parcels a plat be required. <br />AYE: Fashingbuaer, Bob Olson, Ray Olson, Atkinson <br />NAY: Rudisill, Schoeller Motion carried. <br />Harstad - Rezoning - Motion made by Fashingbauer, seconded by Ray Olson to <br />recommend approval of the rezoning for Harstad of 24.75 acres from SFE to <br />SFU as per plan on file signed and dated, CL, 6-25-86. <br />All aye, motion carried. <br />Auto dismantling license review - Neither owners of the junkyards were <br />present. The clerk will inform the owners that on July 9, 1986 the <br />licenses will be considered regardless of whether they are represented <br />or not. <br />Arnold Palme - Subdivision - Mr. Palme was informed that because the <br />original subdivision application was not completed he would be required <br />to begin the process as a new application. <br />
