They were informed that a rezoning to acc-
ommodate the five acre parcel would require going to an RR2
zone. After considerable discussion the planning commis-
sion felt the business did not truly fall under the medical
application of the zone.
The planning Commission recommends that the Special Use Permit
for Frank Puleo be referred to the City Council for further
action. The PC notes-Lat a proposed SUP could be granted for
Mr. Puleo depending on the the status of the amended ordi-
nances concerning woodworking and or cottage industries in
the various zones.
The Planning Commission also points out that at Council direc-
tion an SUP might be granted on a hardship basis with a definite
termination date in anticipation of the amended ordinance being
considered.
AYE: Olson, Granger, Fashingbauer, Lorch
NAY: Atkinson, Rudisill
Jon Granger was appointed and sworn in as a Planning
member.
