MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS <br />OF THE <br />HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION <br />NOVEMBER 13, 1985 <br />The regular meeting was called to order by Chairman Atkinson at 7:OOPM. <br />PRESENT: Schoeller, Rudisill, Ray Olson, ATkinson, Councilman Potts, Fashingbauer <br />ABSENT: Bob Olson, Granger <br />Motion made by Rudisill, seconded by Atkinson to approve the Minutes of Oct. 9, 1985 <br />with the follaring correction; <br />Charest Special Use Permit Rudisill voted no. <br />All aye, motion carried. <br />The regular meeting was recessed and the public hearing called to order at 7:06PM <br />Zerwas - Public Hearing - Jim Bramstedt, 6524 145th St. requested that the record <br />show that their property is an active licensed shooting preserve. They are also <br />concerned about the wet areas. Mr. Bramstedt also made an offer to buy the prop- <br />erty several months ago. Mr. Vern Peloquin stated that he felt at the time the <br />property was originally split there was a guarantee of road access to the west <br />(Goodview). <br />The public hearing was closed and the regular meeting reconvened at 7:37PM. <br />Vern Peloquin - Subdivision - Mr. Peloquin questioned whether the court reporter <br />was in attendance for his case alone or the entire meeting? The deputy clerk <br />stated that Mr. McAllister ordered the court reporter for the Peloquin Subdivision. <br />Mr. Peloquin felt that this was harrassment and would not discuss the matter <br />without consultation with his attorney. He asked that this be tabled until he <br />contacts us. <br />Motion made by Atkinson, seconded by Schoeller to table the Peloquin Subdivision <br />until notice by Mr. Peloquin. All aye, motion carried. <br />Richard Engman - Public Hearing - Mr. Engman was not present and did not file <br />an application. This matter will not be placed on the Planning Commission agenda <br />until an application is received and the fees are paid. <br />Zerwas - Subdivision - Zerwas' submitted their sketch plan to divide approximately <br />75 acres ( Schletty Property) at 8A and Goodview. Mr. Atkinson quoted the code <br />book 290-2 (1), stating that a subdivision should be well planned and attractive. <br />Discussion on the easement from Schletty home west to Goodview was conducted and <br />whether to vacate this easement. It was the general concensus of the commission <br />that the concept could be approved but better planning and a more attractive lay- <br />out should be accomplished. Mr. Zerwas requested the matter be tabled to allow <br />a new sketch plan to be drawn up. <br />Motion amde by Atkinson, seconded by Schoeller to table the Zerwas application <br />until Mr. Zerwas contacts our office but no later than the first meeting in <br />January, 1986. All aye, motion carried. <br />
