MINUTES OF THE PROCE 3DINGS <br />OF THE <br />HUGO PUNNING COM1- ISSION <br />1'ay 23, 1984 <br />The regular meeting w--ts called to order at 7:00 PM, by Chairman <br />Lorch. <br />PRESENT: Schoeller, Atkinson, Potts, RLdisill, Lorch <br />ABSENT: Fashingbauer, Olson <br />Motion made by Schoeller, second by Atkinson to approve the <br />Yinutes of Pay 9, 1984 after the following corrections; <br />George Lindy — item No. 4 add "etc". <br />item No. 3 add "no more than" one speed boat etc. <br />All aye, motion carried. <br />The planning commission would like to acknowledge and thank <br />Mrs. Svendson for her letter of appreciation during a meeting <br />on the Richard Granger subdivision. <br />Regular meeting recessed at 7:04 P17. <br />John Vostuch — The public hearing was called to order at 7:05 PT". <br />Mr. Kostuch would like to rezone approximately 17 acres from <br />Industrial to SFU. His plan would be to divide the property <br />in%o 2'% _i-oLsil 100' XL 2001. The subdivision would inclade two <br />new roads running east and west and one road north and south. <br />Several reside -Its were in attendance concerned mainly with the <br />cost of upgrading 140th St. and the odor of a neighboring <br />business from hot tar stored outside for cooling. Yone of <br />the residents were in opposition to the subdivision. It was <br />noted any subdivision not served by sewer and water must be <br />no less than 160' in width and one acre in size. The public <br />hearing was closed at 7:33 PI°1. <br />Lawrence Hazel - Mr. Hazel would like to diviJe 5.77 acz es <br />r11to :t:,a parcels. Two lots were combined in 1982,`4 <br />acres and 1.77 acres. The s .faller <br />Lawrence from John Hazel. There were no residents attending <br />the meeting. Tl -v,, )ublin hearing was closed at 8:0.4 PM. <br />CD <br />The regular neeting r1'.s reconvened at 8:05 PM. <br />John Kostuch — T`r. 1,ostuch stated rather than put city water in <br />he would change the lots to one acre minimum. <br />Motion made by Potts, second by Schoeller to recommend approval <br />of the rezoning for'John Kostuch from industrial to SFU with <br />the following recommendations; <br />1. a legal description is provided and <br />2. a registered land survey. All aye, motion carried. <br />
