Hugo Planning Commission <br />June 11, 1980 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />NORMAN HORTON - ANNUAL REVIEW (AUTO DISMANTLING LICENSE) <br />Mr. Horton was present and stated that a new operator will taking <br />over in the near future. A lease has been drawn up including all <br />conditions of the Special Use Permit to make sure they are complied with. <br />McAllister requested that Mr. Horton ask that the new operator try <br />and keep the gates closed during the evening hours. <br />N.r. Horton requested that the Planning Commission consider deletion <br />of certain items of his permit: <br />Item 2 (planting of trees) - Trees are no longer necessary because <br />of highway fencing. <br />Item 3 (parking area) - Blacktop has been completed <br />Item 10 (bond) - Trees and parking area completed <br />Motion made by McAllister, seconded by Greger, to recommend that the <br />City Council renew the Special Use Permit for Norman Horton, Jr., with <br />the following exceptions: <br />1. Delete Item 2 in its entirety. <br />2. Item 3 to read: Permit holder shall maintain bituminous parking <br />area of at least 2400 sq. ft. on the property and such area should <br />be reserved for customer parking. <br />i0 <br />3. Delete Item 1f in its entirety. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Let the record show that the bond is not required because trees not <br />required, parking completed, and fencing provided. <br />RICHARD SCHUH <br />Motion made by McAllister, seconded by Lorch, that the City Engineer <br />advise if Mr. Schuh has not completed road repairs to his satisfaction. <br />If not, Mr. Schuh to be placed on the agenda for the meeting of June 25th <br />and the City Engineer be requested to appear as an ex officio member <br />of the Planning Commission. <br />All aye.
