MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS <br />OF THE <br />HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION <br />September 10, 1980 <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairwoman Peltier at 8:03 PM. <br />PRESENT: Hanson, Greger, Houle, Lorch, McAllister, Peltier <br />ABSENT: Peloquin <br />Motion made by McAllister, seconded by Lorch, to approve the minutes of August 27, <br />1980, after the following corrections have been made: <br />Page 1 (MR Tourist Camp public hearing) - Delete, "The public hearing was closed <br />at 7:45 PM." <br />Page 2 (Schuneman) - A temporary cul-de-sac would be located at the east end of <br />proposed new roadway. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />THOMAS LARKEY - SITE PLAN APPROVAL'AND VARIANCE <br />Motion made by Hanson, seconded by McAllister, to recommend a Variance from <br />Chapter 320-5, Subd H (4) to Thomas Larkey to construct a 32 x 48 pole barn <br />nearer the front lot line than the principal building, as per submitted Site Plan. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Motion made by Hanson, seconded by McAllister, to recommend approval of the Site <br />Plan for Thomas Larkey, to construct a 32 x 48 pole barn to be used for personal <br />storage, as per submitted Site Plan. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />RICHARD DUCKSTAD - SITE PLAN APPROVAL <br />Motion made by Hanson, seconded by Greger, to recommend approval of the Site Plan <br />for Richard Duckstad to construct a 26 x 32 pole barn to be used for personal storage, <br />as per Site Plan submitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />CARL SCHUNEMAN - CARTWAY AND DIVISION OF LAND <br />Mr. Schuneman is proposing the division of approximately 50 acres lying in Section 33. <br />Attorney Johnson has submitted a letter stating the proposed construction would con- <br />stitute "establishing a new roadway" and major subdivsion would be required unless a <br />variance is granted. McAllister stated that the city has the option of waiving some <br />of the more expensive requirements of the subvision ordinance. Schuneman has granted <br />a 33' easement along parcel 5 to 125th Street for any possible future roads. A letter <br />of intent was submitted from Clifford Axelson stating he would participate in the <br />granting of a 33' easement for the upgrading of that part of the cartway which ex- <br />tends over his property. Mr. Schuneman has made application to Rice Creek for the <br />
