Hugo Planning Commission <br />September 10, 1980 <br />Page 3 of 3 <br />JOHN MOORE - SUBDIVISION (disc only) <br />Mr. Moore is contemplating the purchase of land from Grace Development along 8A. <br />Everything would be FHA approved and consist of varied sized residences (single <br />family 40% - condos and quads 60%). McAllister suggested that Mr. Moore attend <br />a Council meeting about petitioning for sewer. That improvement would be the key <br />to the whole project. <br />Motion made by McAllister, seconded by Greger, to add Harlow Grimes to the agenda <br />for all purposes. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />HARLOW GRIMES - VARIANCE AND SITE PLAN APPROVAL <br />Mr. Grimes is constructing a new home on County Road 4 along with two pole barns - one <br />for horses and one for storage. <br />Motion made by Hanson, seconded by McAllister, to recommend approval of the Variance <br />from Chapter 320-5 (H) to allow Hawlow Grimes to construct pole barns 1 & 2 as indi- <br />cated on Site Plan, closer to the front lot line than the principal building. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Motion made by Hanson, seconded by Greger, to recommend approval of the Site Plan <br />for Harlow Grimes to construct barns 1 & 2 for personal use, as indicated on sub- <br />mitted Site Plan. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />MISCELLANEOUS <br />Planning Commission member, Jim Houle, submitted a letter of resignation effective <br />October 1, 1980. <br />Motion made by McAllister, seconded by Peltier, that Jim Houle's resignation be <br />forwarded to the City Council for their acceptance. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Motion made by Peltier, seconded by McAllister, that the City Council advertise in <br />the Forest Lake papers and the White Bear Press for a Planning Commission member to <br />replace Jim Houle. <br />All aye.
