Hugo Planning Commission <br />November 12, 1980 <br />Page 3 of 3 <br />NICK LEBENS - SPECIAL USE PERMIT <br />The Building Inspector suggested that Mr. Lebens appear before the Commission <br />regarding his business located at 16155 Forest Blvd. Mr. Lebens stated that there <br />have been posts placed in the ground, and wire is placed across poles to shelter <br />plants that need partial shade. This screening is not a permanent structure, and <br />is removed in the winter months. A plastic greenhouse will also be constructed <br />on the property, and a Special Use Permit is required for this type of structure <br />in the Agricultural zone. <br />Motion made by McAllister, seconded by Peltier, to recommend approval of a Special <br />Use Permit for Nick A. and Patricia Lebens, to construct a frame greenhouse <br />with poly cover. The building to meet all city code requirements. In addition, <br />there is to be no retail business. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />The Planning Commission does not consider the temporary screening to grow plants <br />as a permanent structure. <br />MISCELLANEOUS <br />Motion made by McAllister, seconded by Peltier, to set a Special Meeting of the <br />Planning Commission, for December 10, 1980, at 6:30 PM, for the purpose of a joint <br />meeting with the City Council and Robert Lockyear, for review of the city's Com- <br />prehensive Plan. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Motion made by Peltier, seconded by Hanson, to cancel the Planning Commission <br />meeting of November 26, 1980. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Mrs. Ann Fashingbauer was present at the meeting and expressed her interest in <br />filling the vacancy on the Commission. Peltier also received a letter from George <br />Knutson stating his interest. Because of the meeting of 11/26/80 being cancelled, <br />the Commission will submit the names of applicants at the meeting of 12/10/80. <br />Motion made by Peltier, seconded by Peloquin, to adjourn at 10:20 PM. <br />All aye.
