MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS <br />OF THE <br />HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION <br />January 28, 1981 <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairwoman Theodora Peltier at 8:04 P;. <br />PRESENT: Hanson, Greger, Lorch, Fa:ihingbauer, Knuteson, Peltier <br />ABSENT: Peloquin <br />Motion made by Greger, seconded by Lorch, to approve the minutes of <br />January 14, 1981, as submitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />BRUCE MOGREN - DISC ONLY OF DIVISION OF LAND ALONG 165TH <br />Mr. Mogren, representing Bob and Jim Dotte, owners of 39 acres in Section 8, <br />stated that the Dottes' are interested in selling their property. The lana <br />is zoned Conservancy, and there was talk about dividing the 39 acres into <br />four (4) building sites. There have been no percolation tests taken at this <br />time, and it was not clear as to exactly how they planned on dividing, tht3 lan.. <br />There is presently a one (1) acre parcel of record located on one of the <br />and that will be tied in with a larger lot. Hogren was informed that it' :,ill <br />was to be used to accommodate an on-site septic system, it would have <br />for one year. <br />RICHAPD VAIL - 3USDIVISION <br />The public hearing to consider the request of Richard Vail for subdivision was <br />1'1�01.ened at 9:02 PM. The Planning Commission again reviewed the. preliminary <br />;.lan with the developer. Attorney Johnson's letter, of' 4/29/80, states that <br />the setback from Egg Lake would be 100'. Mrs. Peltier thought that she had <br />been informed that the city could abide by the DNR regulations which are more <br />restrictive. There was discussion regarding the elimination of the cul -df s,,+c <br />and the continuation of the road to 141st Street. Vail stated that Friend <br />and Salokar were not interested in having anything to do with a new road. <br />(PELOQUIN ARRIVED AT 9:35 PM). The Planning Commission keFt Mr. Vail informed <br />as to what took place at their meeting of 1/22/81. Lorch stated that each <br />individual lot would meet city requirements, but collectively would barely <br />meet the minimum. <br />Joe Monno, 5773 Egg Lake Road; stated that his main concern was the drainage <br />and where the water would go. Vail stated that the water was designed to <br />run into the storm sewer and then into Egg Lake. <br />Richard Koercher, 5818 Egg Lake Road, asked if the houses on Lots 1 and 2 <br />would have basements, and Vail said they would be split-levels and would not <br />go into the ground more than 301. <br />The public hearing was closed at 9:47 P14. <br />
