MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS <br />OF THE <br />HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION <br />June 10, 1981 <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairwoman Theodora Peltier at 8:07 PM. <br />PRESENT: Peloquin, Fashingbauer, Greger, Lorch, Peltier <br />ABSENT: Knuteson and Hanson <br />Motion aide by Greger, seconded by Peloquin, to approve the minutes of May 27, <br />1981, as submitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />NORMAN HORTON - AUTO DISMANTLING LICENSES (2) <br />Norm's Auto Parts was represented by Bill Suudeen, staff supervisor, in St. Paul. <br />(KNUTESON ARRIVED AT 8:10 PM). There was no record of any complaints on file, <br />however, Councilman McAllister stated that requests to close gates after hours <br />have been ignored, and there is a parking problem on the highway. <br />Motion made by Peltier, seconded by Fashingbauer, to table this matter until <br />the meeting of June 24, 1981. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Applicant was instructed to return with a fire lane plan and to determine if' <br />two addresses are involved since Suudeen said he wanted to get a Special Use <br />Permit for both addresses. Also, request that the secretary obtain data about <br />complaints. <br />JOHN KOSTUCH - MINOR SUBDIVISION <br />The Van -go property, presently owned by Lee Perrault and Alan Bakke, built their <br />addition on the property and on Mr. Kostuch's new property. Mr. Kostuch giving <br />37' across back side of Van -go to Van -go. Mr. Kostuch present his Contract for <br />Deed as proof -of -ownership. <br />Motion made by Peloquin, seconded by Peltier, to recommend approval of the Minor <br />Subdivision for John Kostuch, to divide a 37' strip of land from his property and <br />deed to Van -Go for their building and setback requirement. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />NOTE: Greger made point that he voted in favor with the motion with the usual <br />stipulation that the Contract for Deed be acceptable proof -of -ownership. <br />DEAN NELSON - REZONING <br />Mr. Nelson is pr6posing the rezoning of 20 acres from Conservancy to Agriculture. <br />Jim Flannery, attorney, represented Mr. Nelson; Nelson present. Nelson is re- <br />locating to Colorado, and wants to divide his 80 acres farm into two 10 acre <br />parcels and one 60 acre parcel. Borings have been taken showing higher, drier <br />land. A list of property owners has been submitted.
