MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS <br />OF THE <br />HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION <br />April 28, 1982 <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairwoman Peltier at 8:04 PM. <br />PRESENT: Hanson, Greger, Lorch, Peltier <br />ABSENT: Fashingbauer, Knuteson, Jacobson <br />Motion made by Greger, Hanson, seconded, to approve the minutes of April 14, <br />1982, after the following corrections have been made: <br />Page 1 - The Planning Commission felt that they would like to have a rep <br />Page 2 - Husnik stated that the utility easements are not indicated on the <br />preliminary plan, but would be included on the final plat. <br />All. aye. Motion Carried. <br />LEN NOACK - AUTO DISMANTLING LICENSE <br />Mr. Noack was present, and stated that a great number of the trees have not <br />grown because of the water problem. He stated that he has spent approximately <br />$2,000 in the planting program. Noack stated that he will be trenching the <br />yard with drainage to a pond in his yard. The secretary could not recall any <br />recent complaints made to City Hall regarding the junkyard operation. Noack <br />will be planting more trees this fall, and will try several varieties to see <br />if they will take better than the pine trees. <br />Motion made by Lorch, Hanson, seconded, to recommend approval of the Auto Dis- <br />mantling License for Leonard Noack for a period one year. Mr. Noack is to <br />make every attempt to replant trees and look for alternate methods of screening. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />PATRICK FLYNN - SITE PLAN APPROVAL <br />Motion made by Lorch, Greger seconded, to add Mr. Flynn to the agenda for all <br />purposes. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Mr. Flynn is proposing the construction of a 32 x 48 pole barn to be used for <br />agricultural purposes. The Planning Commission was concerned with the 20' <br />setback from an existing private easement to land behind Mr. Flynn's. Flynn <br />stated that he had his attorney draft the easement so that it would always <br />remain a private easement for ingress and egress only. <br />Motion made by Peltier, Lorch seconded, to recommend approval of the Site Plan <br />for Patrick Flynn, 15979 Jeffrey Avenue, to construct a 32 x 48 pole barn for <br />his personal use only. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />
