HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION <br />page 2 April 13, 1983 <br />Leonard Noack - Auto Dismantling License <br />Mr. Noack stated he has planted more pine trees to act as a <br />barrier as requested by the City Council. He also has included <br />a trench near the newly planted trees to help promote growth. <br />Motion made by Hanson, seconded by Potts to recommend approval <br />of Lens Auto Dismantling License for one year. <br />All aye. Motion carried. <br />Jerry Vandelac - Minor Subdivision <br />Mr. Vandelac would like to divide his 10 acres into a 1 acre <br />parcel (parcel one), and a 9 acre parcel (parcel two). He <br />plans to sell the 1 acre with house and out buildings, and build <br />a smaller home for himself on the remaining 9 acres provided <br />it can pass a perc test. <br />Motion made by Hanson, seconded by Potts to recommend approval <br />of the Minor subdivision for Jerry Vandelac according to ordinance <br />290-9, also the variance on Parcel 2 for 115' road frontage <br />pending a Certificate of Survey being submitted prior to the City <br />Council approval. <br />All aye. Motion carried. <br />Dan Muellner - Pole building <br />Mr. and Mrs. Muellner were present with their plans to construct <br />a 24 X 40 pole building for personal storage. This is zoned Ag. <br />Motion made by Potts, seconded by Hanson to recommend approval <br />of the 24 X 40 building. <br />All aye. Motion carried. <br />Schmidty's <br />James Flannery and Wil Harris were present to submit their final <br />plans for construction at the site of the old "Schmidty's". Now <br />that they have officially acquired the property and financing, <br />they are interested in specific requirements from the City. <br />The following list was provided in order for them to draw up a <br />final site plan. <br />1. Front and side fencing <br />2. Lighting at driveways <br />3. Septic system and perc. information <br />4. on/off sale customer parking and vehicle movement plan <br />5. Views from r'.T1DOT on one or two driveways <br />6. extent of blacktop parking now available (exact number) <br />7. Plans for topping the overflow parking <br />Mr. Flannery stated the City Council has shown approval of their <br />previous site plan. However, lacking a final site plan but for <br />the purpose of expediency, Mr. Flannery and Mr. HArris will bring <br />their plans to the City Council for their approval providing all <br />of the above requirements are addressed.
