Planning Commission Minutes <br />July 13, 1973 <br />Stack - continued <br />Motion made by Hanson, seconded by Potts to recom end approval of the rezoning <br />of 110 acres from Conservancy to Agricultural pending receipt of the signed <br />application from Mr. Hollihan. <br />All aye. Notion carried. <br />George Merrill - KSTP <br />Mr. Merrill restated the intent of Hubbard Broadcasting to construct one 9 meter <br />receiving station and one 4 meter on a 10' by 10' concrete pad. The entire <br />area is currently fenced for safety and vandalism. Mr. Lorch felt there was no <br />need for a public hearing. <br />Motion made by Fashingbauer, seconded by Potts for the construction of a new 10 <br />ft. by 10 ft. cement pod for the installation of a 4.5 meter satellite receiving <br />antenna. Also to install a 9 meter satellite receiving antenna on the existing <br />cement pod constructed in 1981, approved by the Planning Commission and the City <br />Council in 1981 (1981-74). <br />All aye. Notion carried. <br />W. Sykes - Rezoning <br />Mr. Sykes would like to purchase the 8.9 acres located on Hwy 61 and County Rd. 4 <br />(north east) corner. Mr. Sykes, owner of Jer Neen Spring Co. would like to con- <br />struct a block building,10 to 20 thousand square feet for the manufacturing of <br />their product. He stated there is no pollution of any kind, nor waste to deal <br />with. The company is presently located in the Peloquin Industrial Park but has <br />no roan for expansion. The possibility of a better suited zone was addressed <br />and the clerk's office will be notified if a change is made. A public hearing <br />was scheduled for August 10th, 1983, 7:30 PM. <br />Motion made by Fashingbauer, seconded by Atkinson to adjourn at 10:10 PM. <br />All aye.
