Potts <br />at 8:05 Pr-, <br />PRES3PIT: Fashingbauer, Schoeller, Atkinson, Potts, Hanson <br />ABSENT: Lorch <br />T'otion made by Atkinson, seconded by Potts to approve the minutes <br />of August 10, 1983 after the following correction; Mr. Atkinson <br />approves of the business but not the rezoning (motion 4, Jer Neen) <br />Joe Oman — 1.1ould like to rezone the narrow strip of land just <br />Norte existing trailer park. Current zone is CB, change to <br />SF3 or SFU. The expansion would allow for 28 more trailer sites. <br />A public hearing was scheduled for September 14, 1983 at 7:10 PY. <br />David Fakler - Mr. Fakler owns 1.4 acres on the corner of 165th <br />and Hwy 61. It was determined that actual area after allowing <br />easements, highway and county roar_ would leave approximately <br />of the 1.4 acres. Mr. Fakler will contact the clerks office <br />after determining the exact size. <br />Dick Jackson - Mr. Jackson is interested in opening a small <br />restaurant n the Bald Eagle Industrial Park and wanted a <br />general fedling from the commission.t present no one could <br />see any objections. <br />Marlowe Lindau - Mr. Lindau would like to subdivide a lot 90' <br />by 398' zoned SFU for construction of a single family home. <br />The lot would be serviced by city utilities. The commission <br />felt it would be appropriate to view the property before making <br />any decisions. T -Notion made by Atkinson, seconded by Potts to <br />table the matter until the September 14 meeting to,allow the <br />Planning Commission to inspect the surrounding area and proposed <br />lot. All aye. Motion carried. <br />Harr Shi artki - Mr. Shiparski is seeking a variance to construct <br />a 34. Y 261 attached garage to within 11' from the property line. <br />There is a city street parallel to his property. Letters from <br />neighbors were presented stating they had no objection to the <br />variance. T'otion made by Hanson, seconde by Schoeller to table <br />the matter until the commission has viewed the property. It <br />will be discussed on September 14. All aye. Motion carried. <br />Richard Granger - Granger would like to rezone the lot on 147th <br />next to the railroad tracks to construct a single family home. <br />It is currently zoned CB, he would like it rezoned SFU. A public <br />hearing was scheduled for September 14, 1983 at 6:50 PM. <br />.Tr. Granger also has approximately 50 acres south east of Oak <br />Shore Park.
