VIEUTES OF T_.._i, PROCrFDIYGS <br />OF TNT <br />TTUGO PLANITITTG COT -'-T,!7 IOTT <br />September 14, 1983 <br />The public hearing was called to order at 6:20 PIT! by Chairman <br />Lorch, to consider the request of Richard Granger. <br />11-1'''SENT: Lorch, Hansen, Potts, Atkinson, Schoeller <br />Fasringbauer (at6:26 PT") <br />Mr. Granger expressed his desire to rezone approximately 50 acres <br />from SFE and RR1 to SFU. The propert is located East of Oak <br />S -,ore Park. D. ;=Tright, 12165 Evertor�and M. Mertens, 12739 Ethan <br />were concerned about the number of lots per acre. W. Williams <br />provided a list of concerns of the residents, three of which <br />were density, condition of the lake and safety of the people. <br />Kathy and Jim ',retry, 4696 126th inquired about open space or <br />a park area. Claude Bloomer, 12471 Ethan, inquired about an <br />easement to the lake, are their established roads presently <br />on a map? George Jungblut, 12277 Ethan Ave. was present and <br />stated he owns the easement, it has been laid out and cannot <br />be changed. Steve 1arkson objected to the possibility of <br />extending sewer into Oak Shore Park because of the size of <br />his property. <br />17r. Granger assured the residents he as the developer would <br />assume all costs incurred by the project. <br />Mary Cofer, 4735 126th St. and P. Higgins, 12145 Everton, were <br />concerned about the density and how the land would be developed <br />along the sewer line. Judy Moline asked if the lots could be <br />serviced by septic systems. <br />Due to the lengthy agenda this public hearing was recessed until <br />September 15, 1983 at 8:00 PDI. <br />Granger — 147th lot — Granger would like to rezone this lot from <br />CB to SFU to construct a single family home. He stated the home <br />would be a rambler with minimal obstruction from the railroad <br />tracks. The driveway would be on the east side of the home between <br />the tracks. FIr. Ed Granger, directly across the street from the <br />lot to the Forth stated that neighbors he had talked to had no <br />objections. This public hearing was adjourned at 7:10 PM. <br />J. Oman — Mobile home park — Letters were read from B. Bernier <br />and Hubbard Broadcasting with no objections. Mr. Bernier re— <br />quested that no more trees be removed and the first trailer <br />be a double wide to appear more as a conventional home. Fred <br />Rierman, TTI -,IF was concerned about the water flow and possible <br />complaints from residents about his business (fabricating steel). <br />T•'..r. Rierman stated that T'"STP complied with the requirement from <br />Rice Creek originally but several months later filled in their <br />holding pond and drainage area, which forces the water back onto <br />the Rierman property. The trailers would be approximately 30 — <br />40 feet from 1.11F. This public hearing was adjourned at 7:26 PM. <br />
