MINUTES OF THF PROCEEDINGS <br />OF THE <br />HUGO PLAT71ING COD1MISSION <br />November 9, 1983 <br />The regular meeting of the Hugo Planning Commission uas called <br />to order by Chairman Lorch at 8:02 PPI. <br />PRESENT: Lorch, Atkinson, Hanson, Potts, Schoeller, Fashingbauer. <br />ABSENT: Olson <br />Motion made by Fashingbauer, seconded by Schoeller to approve <br />the minutes of October 26, 1983. All aye, motion carried. <br />Motion made by Lorch, seconded by Fashingbauer to cancel the <br />meeting of November 23, 1983. All aye, motion carried. <br />Shirley Nelson Hill — Mrs. Hill would like to proceed with <br />her plans to open a restaurant and on sale liquor establish— <br />ment. She stated that the building was nearly complete and <br />ready for business and would like to apply for the liquor <br />license. Pers. Hill was requested to supply the planning <br />commission with information regarding parking facilities, <br />drainage, the current septic system, lighting (exterior) <br />and traffic flow into the parking area. <br />It was decided that a public hearing would not be necessary, <br />but an opinion from the City engineer regarding drainage <br />would be helpful. <br />Motion made by Lorch, seconded by Potts to table the Shirley <br />Nelson Hill SUP application until 12-14-83 at which time the <br />following questionswill be addressed; <br />1. All area residents will be notified that this matter is <br />again being considered. <br />2. airs. Hill will provide an interior floor plan with seating. <br />3. Hill will supply a current site plan showing parking, <br />driveway, lighting, traffic pattern, drainage and an opinion <br />from Washington County regarding driveway access. <br />4. The City Engineer will be requested to give the Planning <br />Commission an opinion as to whether blacktop or Class 5 <br />would be sufficient. <br />All aye, motion carried. <br />Peter Schuna — Variance — Mr. Schuna would like to construct <br />is garage six feet c oser to the road than the principle <br />building. <br />1,7otion wade by Lorch, seconded by Hanson to recommend approval <br />of the variance for Pete Schuna to construct his garage 6feet <br />closer to the road. All aye, motion carried. <br />Potion made by Schoeller, seconded by Atkinson to adjourn at <br />10:10 PM.
