P <br />MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS <br />OF THE <br />HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION <br />JANUARY 269 1977 <br />The meeting was called to order at 8:02 P.M. by Vice Chairperson <br />Theodora Peltier. Attending were Peltier, Peloquin, Greger, <br />Rosenquist, and McAllister. Larry Irsfeld, representative from <br />the City Council, was also in attendance. <br />ABSENT: Ehret and Gillen <br />The following changes are to be made on the minutes of January 12, <br />1977: <br />Page 1 - 8th line of Bald Eagle Sportsmen Club - The club at <br />present is in an Agricultural zone. <br />Page 3 - Richard Johnson (2nd line) - Insert the words In order <br />to prevent the back 20 acres from being.landlocked, they <br />would give the owner an easement on the north edge of <br />their 20 acres. <br />Page 4 - Wherever the words Vice President is stated, should be <br />changed to read Vice Chairperson. <br />Motion made by Peloquin, seconded by Rosenquist, to approve the <br />minutes of January 12, 1977, with the above changes. <br />All aye. Motion carried. <br />A voice vote was taken on whether the approval of the minutes should <br />be handled after the agenda has been dealt with. <br />All aye. Motion carried. <br />RONALD GRANGER - APARTMENT ON LAND ZONED SFU <br />Mr. Granger owns a parcel of land, the front half being zoned CB, <br />and the back half zoned SFU. He would like to build an apartment <br />on the back portion of his property, but is having difficulty <br />distinguishing the exact lines of the zoning. Peltier stated that <br />12,000 sq. ft. would be needed to construct a multiple dwelling. <br />Rosequist felt the land would be a good setting for an apartment, but <br />would like to see a plan of some kind. Rosenquist asked how many <br />units Mr. Granger planned to have in the building, and Granger <br />stated the maximum number that the zone would allow. LB & RB are <br />the only zones where multiple dwellings are allowed. <br />
