MINUTES FOR THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF JANUARY 3. 1994 <br />The meetinq was called to order by Mayor Stoltzman at 7:05 PM. <br />PRESENT: Barnes, Brunotte, Leroux„ Miron, Stoltzman <br />City Administrator, Robert Museus <br />City Attorney, Greg Galler <br />City Clerk., Mary Ann Creager <br />Leroux made motion, Barnes seconded, to table approval of the minutes for <br />December 20, 1993, until the Council meeting of January 18, 1994. <br />All Aye. Motion Carried. <br />Barnes made motion, Miron seconded, to approve the claims for January 3, <br />1994, in the amount of $130,535.55. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />REQUEST FOR TIME EXTENSION (LEMAY) <br />On October 19, 1992, the Council considered a request from Tom and Sharon <br />LeMay for site plan approval to construct a home on their property located <br />at 9296 130th Street North. The LeMay's wish to live in an existing home <br />on the property until they have completed a new home. The Council <br />approved their request subject to a $•3,000 financial guarantee to insure <br />removal of the old residence within 90 days of obtaining a Certificate of <br />Jccupancy for the new home. The LeMay's have requested a 90 -day extension <br />to allow them the opportunity to remove any plants, shrubbery, and trees <br />currently next to the old house, after the spring thaw. Staff recommended <br />approval of the request based on their providing the City the required <br />financial guarantee, and removal of the existing home by June 1, 1994. <br />Stoltzman made motion, Brunotte seconded, to approve the request of Tom <br />Lemay, 9296 130th Street, for a 90 -day extension to the requirement to <br />have the old house removed upon issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy for <br />their new home. The extension will allow the LeMays time to remove any <br />plants, shrubbery, and trees currently next to the old house. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />SUP AND AGREEMENT (STOLTZMAN) <br />At the Council meeting of December 20, 1993, the Council tabled action <br />upon an Agreement between Laura M::. Stoltzman and Walter W. Stoltzman, and <br />Walter L. Stoltzman (Stoltzman's) regarding the continued operation of an <br />auto repair business, and continued cleanup efforts of their property <br />located a 8221 and 8139 157th Street. Action on the Aq_reement was tabled <br />to provide time for the City Attorney to prepare minor amendments to the <br />Agreement regarding the auto repair business, and to prepare a Special Use <br />Permit for the continued reclamation and recycling of materials existing <br />on the property. The discussion continued at tonight's meeting regarding <br />language in the documents that would be acceptable to the Stoltzman <br />family. The City Attorney will make the recommended changes in the <br />documents. <br />
