MINUTES FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING FEBRUARY 7. 1994 <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Stoltzman at 7:00 PM. <br />PRESENT: Barnes, Brunotte, Miron, Stoltzman <br />City Administrator, Robert Museus <br />City Attorney, Greg Galler <br />City Engineer, Howard Kuusisto <br />City Clerk, Mary Ann Creager <br />ABSENT: Jim Leroux <br />Brunotte made motion. Barnes seconded, to approve the minutes for the City <br />Council meeting of January 24, 1994, as submitted. <br />All Aye. Motion Carried. <br />Barnes made motion, Brunotte seconded, to approve the claims for February <br />7, 1994, in the amount of $25,665.66. <br />All aye. Motion Carried' <br />Mike Perreault, Hugo's representative on the District Memorial Hospital <br />Board, was present asking for the City's support in their effort to <br />attract an ISN. He asked that if the City did not adopt the resolution <br />they had drafted, that a letter of support would be helpful. Attorney <br />Galler stated that he had received a copy of a resolution, relating to <br />this matter, from Columbus Township's attorney. <br />Mir -on made motion, Barnes seconded, to table this matter until 2/22/94 to <br />allow time to review the resolution drafted by Columbus Township. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />DOLAN/BARBOUR (PRELIMINARY PLAT APPRQYnL-)_ <br />On January 26, 1994, the Hugo Planning Commission conducted a public <br />hearing to consider the preliminary plat for DUCK PASS subdivision <br />located in the S 1/2 of the NW 1/4 in the N 1/2 of the SW 1/4, T31N, R21W, <br />Washington County, MN. The PC recommended preliminary plat approval with <br />conditions Dan Dolan and Wayne Tauer were present to further explain the <br />subdivision Council member Barnes felt that the PUD allowed for too many <br />smaller lots (less than five acres)r and expressed concern regarding the <br />possible negative effect on ground water quality' <br />Brunotte made motion, Stoltzman seconded, to approve the preliminary plat <br />for DUCK PASS subdivision, subject to the following special conditions: <br />1The plat must be submitted to the City Council within 90 days of <br />preliminary survey acceptance approval shall be null and void. <br />2. Plat approval shall be contingent upon compliance with the plat <br />conditions, as well as the grading, stormwater drainage, and utility <br />plans. <br />
