!'`INUTES OF TEE ??OCErDI.IC-S <br />OF THE <br />h7_ GO PL.^:ATNING COM1111ISSION <br />September 12, 1979 <br />The Special Meeting with Carl Dale was called to order at 6:15 Pr1. <br />�'RESEITT: Peloquin, Gregor, Manson, Lorch, TicAllister and Peltier <br />�:. <br />Jim Houle arrived at 6:30 i'Ai. <br />Hon Istvanovich, Hire Chief, was present to discuss the proposed five <br />year Capitol Improvement Program. Specifically, the construction of <br />a new fire hall, or the addition to the present structure. Mr. <br />Istvanovich could foresee the construction of a station in the Withrow <br />area. McAllister suggested that Mr. Dale acknowledge receipt of the <br />program to expand the Fire Department, City fall, and the Police De- <br />p artrent in his response to Metro. <br />Mr. Dale suggested the possibility of the construction of a perimeter <br />road along the westerly shoreline of Egg Lake to help encourage Retail <br />Business on TTighway 61. It was the general concensus of the Planning <br />Comumission that this idea would be beneficial to the city. Air. Dale <br />could see a 100,000 ft mall being constructed somewhere west of the <br />railroad tracks. <br />The Planning Commission then .reviewed the replies to the questionnaire <br />that have already been received. McAllister suggested that the City <br />Clerk have a news item inserted in the local papers to remind people <br />that a response would be appreciated. <br />/a <br />The next Special fleeting with Mr. Dale was scheduled for October ir, <br />1970, at 6:00 PM. The City Council and Ordinance Committee are to be <br />notified. <br />The regular meeting of the Planning ConEiiission was called to order by <br />Chairwoman Peltier at 8:15 PAZ. <br />PR SrNT_: Peloquin, Greger, Hanson, Lorch, Houle, McAllister and Peltier <br />Lotion made by Peloquin, seconded by Hanson, to approve the minutes of <br />August 22, 1979, after the following change is 7:aade: <br />Page 1 (Waller) - interested in the changes that will take place in the <br />next few years <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />PAUL H SECUSTER - Vj1jTZIAA1jNCE <br />Mr. Hasecuster, 12670 Ingersoll Avenue, is asking to construct a 22 x 28 <br />garage 20' from the right-of-way of Ingersoll. His present septic sy- <br />stem is inadequate and will need the extra land to add 200' to his <br />drainfield. Tom Crever was present, and stated the only possible pro- <br />blem would be maintenance of the road. Mr. Hasecuster said it could <br />be no more problem than having three cess Parked in front of his house. <br />
