M <br />MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS <br />OF THE <br />HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION <br />March 28, 1979 <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairman Laity Ehret at 8:03 PM, <br />PRESENT: Peloquin, Peltier, Greg+er, Gillen, McAllister and Ehret <br />Bill Hanson was present at the meeting, but could not vote because he had not been <br />sworn in. <br />Motion made by Peltier, seconded by Peloquin, to approve the minutes of March 14s 19799 <br />after the following change is made: <br />Page 2 (1st line) - Ehret asked how familiar the applicants were with the Comp Plan <br />All aye. Motion Carried, <br />RICHARD OLSON - VARIANCE <br />Mr. Olson is requesting a variance for crushed limestone on his parking lot at Regal <br />Plastic Products in the Peloquin Industrial Park. <br />Motion made by McAllister, seconded by Peloquin, to recommend approval of the request <br />for a variance for Richard Olson from blacktop to crushed limestone for his parking <br />lot at Regal Plastic Products in the Peloquin Industrial Park, until streets are in and <br />blacktopped. <br />All aye. Motion Carried <br />ROBERT DOTTE - SPECIAL USE PERMIT <br />Mr. Dotte is requesting authorization to construct a 40' x 64' pole barn for storage <br />of tractors and machinery. The land lies in Section 89 along 165th Street, Mr. <br />Dotte provided the requested information as asked for the the Planning Commission, <br />The Planning Commission felt that the front yard setback, as indicated, was too close <br />to the road, and should be moved back. <br />Motion made by Gillen, seconded by Gregor, to recommend approval of the Special Use <br />Permit as requested by Robert Dotte, to construct a 40' x 641 pole barn to be used <br />for storage of tractors and machinery, as shown on submitted site plan, except that <br />the building setback shall be 40' or more from the road right-of-way line. See <br />attached letter. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />WILLIAM TREPANIER - SPECIAL USE PERMIT <br />Mr. Trepanier is requesting permission to construct a 40' x 601 pole barn on his <br />property located at 6067 Oneka Lake Blvd, to be used for storage. Kuusisto and Koehler <br />have reviewed the request, and have determined that the location of the building <br />would not fall under the jurisdiction of the Flood Plain Ordinance. <br />Motion made by McAllister, seconded by Peltier, to recommend approval of the Special <br />Use Permit, as requested by William Trepanier, to construct a 40' x 60' pole barn on <br />his property at 6067 Oneka Lake Boulevard. The building is not allowed to be rented. <br />VOTING FOR: Peloquin, Peltier, Greger, McAllister, and Ehret <br />ABSTAINED: Gillen MOTION CARRIED <br />
