Motion Carried. <br />Barnes made motion, Stolt man seconded, to approve the minutes for the <br />special Council meeting of February :=, 19919 as submitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />COUNCILMAN M I RUN ARRIVED AT 7:05 PM . <br />Leroux: made motion, Barnes seconded, to approve the claims for February <br />16, 1993, in the amount of $98,559.02. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />LIQUOR L I CENSE APPLICATION <br />The Hugo Lions Club has applied for a 3.2 beer :License in order to sell <br />beer at certain special events during the year. The Lions have held such <br />a license for a number of years. Staff recommends approval of the <br />license. <br />Stolt man made motion, Barnes seconded, to approve the 3.2 beer .license <br />for the Hugo Lions Club to sell beer at certain special events during the <br />year, subject to the following conditions: <br />1. Hugo Lions Club provide the City proof of financial responsibility as <br />required by ordinance. <br />?. The Lions Club provide written notice to the City, in advance, of the <br />location, date, and times of each activity during which beer- will be <br />sold. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />F'UBL I L" HEARING ((AUTO U I_SMANTL, I NG / J_UNh _ r A 'D ORDINANCE) <br />A public hearing was scheduled for the Council to receive comment on a <br />proposed ordinance regulating the operation of auto dismantling fac.i iit.:.ies <br />and junk yards in the City of Hugo. Lased on discussions with the <br />facilities to be regulated, the ordinance has undergone substantial <br />revision. The public hearing was opened, and David Schumann and Richard <br />Brandt addressed the Council regarding the proposed ordinance. <br />
