PRESENT: Barnes, Brunotte, Leroux, Sto'1tzman City Administrator, Robert Museus City Attorney, Greg Galler City Clerk, Mary Ann Creager ABSENT: Miron Leroux; made motion, Brunotte seconded, to approve the minutes for the City Council meeting of February 1, 1993, as submitted. All aye. Motion Carried. Barnes made motion, Stolt man seconded, to approve the minutes for the special Council meeting of February :=, 19919 as submitted. All aye. Motion Carried. COUNCILMAN M I RUN ARRIVED AT 7:05 PM . Leroux: made motion, Barnes seconded, to approve the claims for February 16, 1993, in the amount of $98,559.02. All aye. Motion Carried. LIQUOR L I CENSE APPLICATION The Hugo Lions Club has applied for a 3.2 beer :License in order to sell beer at certain special events during the year. The Lions have held such a license for a number of years. Staff recommends approval of the license. Stolt man made motion, Barnes seconded, to approve the 3.2 beer .license for the Hugo Lions Club to sell beer at certain special events during the year, subject to the following conditions: 1. Hugo Lions Club provide the City proof of financial responsibility as required by ordinance. ?. The Lions Club provide written notice to the City, in advance, of the location, date, and times of each activity during which beer- will be sold. All aye. Motion Carried. F'UBL I L" HEARING ((AUTO U I_SMANTL, I NG / J_UNh _ r A 'D ORDINANCE) A public hearing was scheduled for the Council to receive comment on a proposed ordinance regulating the operation of auto dismantling fac.i iit.:.ies and junk yards in the City of Hugo. Lased on discussions with the facilities to be regulated, the ordinance has undergone substantial revision. The public hearing was opened, and David Schumann and Richard Brandt addressed the Council regarding the proposed ordinance.
