The request was <br />reviewed by Howard Kuusisto, City Engineer, who recommended a reduction .in <br />the amount of the financial security to $240,000.00. The reason for the <br />difference between the requested amount, and the recommended amount, is <br />due to concerns for the construction technique used on the Geneva Avenue <br />wetland crossing, and the potent.i.al for necessary street repair during <br />final construction of Rice Lake Meadows. It way=_• the recommendation of the <br />City Administrator that the financial guarantee be reduced to $141,000, <br />based on the following: <br />1. $75,000 .is security for work yet to be performed. <br />2. $40,000 for potential repairs to roadway. <br />3. $26,000 for potential repair to sewer and water- utilities. <br />Leroux made motion, Barney:. seconded, that the financial guarantee for Rice <br />Lake Meadows be reduced to $141,000, as recommended by th••,c: City <br />Administrator. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />COUNTRY FONDS L...E.TTER <br />The City received a request from Richard Sagstetter, representing <br />Arlington Properties, the developer of the proposed Country Ponds <br />subdivision, that Arlington Properties be relieved of the requirement to <br />obtain drainage -area easements from properties located to the north of the <br />proposed subdivision. Mr. Sagstetter and Mr. Richard Schreier appeared <br />before the Council stating that Arlington Properties has attempted to <br />
