ATAXIA FOUNDATION)_ Miron made motion, Stoltzman seconded, to approve the Gambling Premises Permit for the National Ataxia Foundation to conduct charitable gambling at Carpenter's, 14559 Forest Blvd., Ht_tgo, MN., and waiver of the any waiting period required for this license. All aye. Motion Carried. FIRE DEPARTMENT APPOINTMENT Miron made motion, Barnes seconded, to appoint Mike Ferguson to the Hugo Volunteer Fire Department, effective November 15, 1997.. VOTING AYE: Barnes, Brunotte, LeroUX, Miron VOTING NAY: Stoltzman Motion Carried. Mayor Stoltzman voted NAY on the motion because other applicants have applied prior to Mr. Ferguson. The City Administrator will report on the status of outstanding applications. FIRE CHIEF RECOMMENDATION The Fire Chief Selection Committee has recommended that Jim Wisner be appointed as Fire Chief of the Hugo Volunteer Fire Department.
