-4 - <br />Winter: We plan on doing that right away. <br />Spitzer: If the roads leading to the church are all blacktopped, <br />we should be talking about blacktopping the perking lot, too. <br />Winter: What steps do we have to take to get that road designed? <br />Brian: It will take council action. <br />Wally Otto: 13264 132nd Street: Why is their a difference in width <br />in 148th Street? <br />Spitzer: Present pi=ns call for 148th Street from Hwy. 61 to Francesca <br />to be 36' wide then taper to 24' wide continuing east. <br />The public hearing was closed at 8:31 PM. <br />Meet Ing <br />The meeting was called to oder by Chairman Spitzer at 8:41PM. <br />Members present were: Spitzer, ^hret, Peloquin, and Peltier. <br />Johnson arrived 8:47PM. also attending were Rrian Amundson, City <br />Engineer's office, William °,chwab, Washington County Planning Depart- <br />ment, and Irene Leroux, representing the City Council. <br />Motion made by Ehret, seconded by Peltier, to arprove the minutes <br />of the February 25, 1976 meeting as sent out. Motion carried. <br />Shepherd of the Fields Lutheran Church <br />Spitzer asked what will happen to 148th Street, a city owned right <br />of way east of Freeland to Peloquin's property, which is not improved. <br />Amundson said the city will have to take the matter under advisement. <br />Subdivision requirements for this property were discussed. Schwab <br />stated that it can be handled as a minor subdivision or a simple plat. <br />Johnson refe-rred to the report by the Rice Creek Watershed District <br />dated February 18, 1976, and expressed concern that the amount of water <br />to be runoff would be increased if that property would be developed. <br />Motion made by Ehret, seconded by Peltier, to recommend to the <br />City Council, approval of the request of Vern Peloqu in for a Special <br />Use Permit for Shepherd of the Fields Lutheran Church to build a church <br />and parking facilities at the property described as follows: "West j <br />of NE 4 of NW 4 of NE !, , Section 20, Town 31, Range 21W." subject to <br />the following conditions: <br />1) Mr. Peloquin shall provide a minor subdivision of the entire <br />parcel in question and shall deed to the city the existing 50' <br />sanitary sewer easement that the City has at the present time <br />as it extends from 148th Street to the east to Oneka Lake Blvd. <br />2) This proposed road shall be brought up to en'gineering standards <br />as approved by the City Engineer's office no"l?ter than Dec. 31, <br />19 76 . <br />3) That the westerly portion of the minor subdivision shall have <br />constructed the church building and parking lot as indicated <br />on the drawings on file in the clerk's office no 1 --ter than <br />December 31, 1976. <br />
