MINUTES FOR THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF' NOVEMBER 4. 1992 <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Stoltzman at 7:30 PM. <br />PRESENT: Barnes, Brunotte, Leroux, Stoltzman <br />City Administrator, Bob MLlseUS <br />ABSENT: Miron <br />The Council reviewed the returns prepared by the City Clerk for the <br />election held on November 3, 1992 for the offices of Mayor, Council member <br />at large, and Council member, Ward 2. After discussion, the following <br />motion was made: <br />Stoltzman made motion, Brunotte seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 92-31, <br />RESOLUTION CANVASSING ELECTION RETURNS FROM ELECTION HELD 11/3/92. <br />VOTING AYE: Barnes, Brunotte, Leroux, Stoltzman <br />Motion Carried. <br />The Council received a request from James Merila, representing Kenco <br />Construction, for a reduction in Kenco's development bond to $184,560, in <br />consideration for the work completed on the Rice Lake Meadows subdivision. <br />After discussion, and on the advice of Howard Kuusisto, City Engineer, the <br />following motion was made: <br />Barnes made motion, Leroux seconded, to reduce Kenco Construction <br />Company's development bond for the Rice Lake Meadows project to $300,000, <br />based on the work performed and concerns for the unique methods being used <br />by Kenco for the construction of Geneva Avenue, and the water and sewer <br />utilities to serve the subdivision. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />The Council briefly discussed the claim for death -benefit claim made <br />against the Fire Relief Association by the estate of Tom Bernier, and the <br />culvert under the driveway serving Ron Sparrow's property on Oneka Lake <br />Blvd. <br />Leroux made motion, Brunotte seconded, to adjourn at 8:10 PM. <br />All aye.
