0. <br /> MINUTES OF PROCEEDINGS OF THE <br /> 40 HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> JULY 9, 1975 <br /> The Public Hearing was opened at 7:15 P.M. by Chairman Spitzer. <br /> The Public Hearing, notice was read and also the Planning Commi- <br /> sions previous recommendation made to the City Council. There <br /> were no comments from the audience. Schwab felt that car lots <br /> should not be allowed in the concentrated business district. No <br /> further comments were made and the Public Hearing was closed at <br /> 7:22 P.M. <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7:59 P.M. by Chairman Spitzer. <br /> Members present were Spitzer, Ehret, Peloquin and Peltier. Also <br /> present were Bill Schwab, Washington County Planner, and Irene <br /> Leroux, City Council Member. <br /> Motion made by Peltier, seconded by Peloquin, that the minutes of <br /> the June 11 meeting be approved as sent. Motion carried. <br /> Motion made by Peltier, seconded by Ehret, notifying the City <br /> Council that a Public Hearing has been held with no comments <br /> regarding amending Zoning Ordinance to Include car lots, and <br /> AI consideration be given to amend zoning ordinanoe to permit <br /> motor vehicle sales in Retail Business and Concentrated Business <br /> District by Special Use Permit only. <br /> Members for: Peltier, Spitzer, and Ehret. Peloquin abstained. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> CLARK MC DERMOTTE, <br /> Mr. McDermotte wanted to discuss rezoning the Robert McCloud <br /> property at 1627 N. 122nd from "A" to "RR2" . <br /> Mr. McCloud owns property on the south border of the township <br /> which. adjoins Mr. McDermotte property in Grant Township. Mr. <br /> McDermotte explained that he did not have a good access to his <br /> property and therefore wanted to rezone Mr. McClouds property. <br /> They submitted a map showing their plans. <br /> They were told that they would need to fill out an application <br /> for rezoning and subdivision. They were told that they should <br /> have supporting evidence why they should be rezoned from "A" <br /> to "RR2," and a preliminary sketch plan should be submitted. <br /> JOANNE JENSEN <br /> Mr. and Mrs. Jensen wanted to discuss obtaining a Special Use <br /> 01 Permit to build a double bungalow on County Road 4. They were <br /> told that perc tests and borings would be required and that they <br /> should do this prior to filling out an application for a Special <br /> Use Permit. <br />
