Minutes <br /> Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Commission <br /> Meeting of April 13, 2016 <br /> Hugo City Hall, 7:00 pm <br /> Call to Order <br /> Present:John Pontrelli, Mat Rauschendorfer, Nicole Schmid, Dave Strub, Ranelle Tennyson,Tom <br /> Windisch <br /> Staff Present: Scott Anderson, Public Works Director; Shayla Denaway, Parks Planner, Debi Close, <br /> Secretary <br /> Windisch called the meeting to order at 7:02 pm. <br /> 1. Approval of Minutes from March Meeting <br /> Tennyson made a motion, Pontrelli seconded to approve the minutes of the March 2, 2016 Parks <br /> Commission meeting as presented. <br /> All Ayes. Motion carried. <br /> 2. Fable Hill Park Playground Proposals <br /> Shayla Denaway, Parks Planner and Scott Anderson, Public Works Director presented a proposal from <br /> Harlan Lehman with Minnesota/Wisconsin Playground. <br /> Grant DesRoches, Flagship Recreation manufactured by Landscape Structures presented a proposal. <br /> Mike Basich, St Croix Recreation Company manufactured by BCI Burke Company presented a proposal. <br /> Bruce Pudwill, Midwest Playscapes manufactured by Playworld Systems and Kompan presented a <br /> proposal. <br /> 3. Neighborhood Meeting: Playground and Park Name <br /> Residents were invited to discuss the proposals including the amenities shown and materials used. Each <br /> person in attendance chose their favorite playground to determine which company would be chosen for <br /> the new Fable Hill Park. <br />
