II. Discussion on Parks and Recreation Programming <br />At its last meeting, the Parks Commission approved a motion authorizing <br />Commission member Jim Taylor to meet with members of the Hugo City <br />Council and City Staff to discuss the future needs for a parks and recreation <br />program coordinator. Attendees at this meeting were Commission Member <br />Jim Taylor, Council Members Becky Petryk, Mike Granger, City <br />Administrator Mike Ericson and Public Works Director Scott Anderson. <br />Council Member Becky Petryk is in attendance tonight along with City <br />Administrator Mike Ericson who will give us a summary of the meeting. <br />III. Mel -O -Dee Stable Property <br />The Mel -O -Dee Stable property is owned by Howard and Donna Meline. <br />Recently, the city of Hugo was contacted by the owner's representative to <br />discuss whether the City of Hugo would have interest in purchasing the <br />property for future parkland. The property is located along Elmcrest Avenue <br />just north of Bald Eagle Lake and south of the Fable Hill development. It is <br />approximately 35 acres in size. Mr. Jeff Carpenter is in attendance tonight <br />as Mr. and Mrs. Meline's representative. <br />
