— Hanifl Fields Athletic Park was not included in facility calculations <br />There is a 26.3% tax cap. rate for Hugo residents in Mahtomedi School District (others: 21.7%, <br />12.8%, 19.73%). The Mahtomedi School District requested $6,065 from Hugo in 2009 and <br />2010 for the costs associated with fields and facilities for youth. The cities of Mahtomedi, <br />Dellwood and Pine Springs made contributions in 2009. <br />Strub made a motion, Larsen seconded to recommend no contribution from the park funds. <br />All Aye. Motion Carried. <br />X. Update from the Health Sub -Committee <br />Shayla Syverson, Parks Planner updated that the Health Sub -Committee has been discussing <br />the SHIP program with intent of forming a community health initiative program. Discussion has <br />been including a possible biking event. Taylor suggested expanding the farmers market. <br />XI. Other <br />Taylor informed that he was approached by a resident who resides in Beaver Ponds about <br />donating a volleyball net, getting donated materials to construct a court and providing the <br />volunteers to help build. <br />Commission members discussed needing additional information. Taylor will request a letter <br />with placement, sketch and/or details of the layout from the resident for further consideration. <br />XII.
