2011 Goals <br />Parks, Recreation and Open Space Commission <br />Approved at the December 15, 2010 meeting <br />Park, Trail and Open Space Development <br />■ Install playground equipment and landscaping at the Hanifl Fields <br />Athletic Park. <br />■ Install playground equipment at Heritage Ponds Park. <br />■ Do concept planning for Irish Avenue Park. <br />■ Do concept planning for Lions Park. <br />■ Coordinate Hardwood Creek Trail connection between 140th and 1451h. <br />■ Continue to look for grants. <br />■ Develop a priority list for trail developments. <br />Recreation Programs <br />■ Continue Movie Nights, the Snow Jam, and the Earth Day Clean -Up. <br />■ Expand the Lions Den Teen Program. <br />■ Hold a Skate Camp. <br />■ Hold a Soccer Camp. <br />■ Hold nature programs in the Hanifl shelter. <br />■ Initiate a Pickleball League. <br />■ Initiate a Walking Club. <br />■ Hold a family bike ride in the fall.
