Bike Safety Rodeo <br />8:30am. 9:30am <br />(Before the Ride) <br />Ride the bicycle challenge course and learn some <br />new safety tips. Challenge yourself with figure 8's, <br />circles and parallel lines. Learn to safely make turns <br />and spot hazards. Get your helmet fitted for free at <br />the Bike Rodeo. Bike helmets will be available to <br />purchase for $5 from 8:00 am to 9:00am. <br />Receive a FREE T -Shirt <br />All riders will receive a "Tour de Hugo" T-shirt and a <br />bag of biking goodies at check in. <br />FREE Food and Beverages <br />There will be a free picnic lunch of croissant sand- <br />wiches and other post -race food for all cyclists at <br />Hanifl Fields Athletic Park. The route has a few hills and travels on roads <br />with minimal vehicle traffic. This ride is supported and <br />starts at 9:30 am. <br />18 mile <br />This route is for novice and experienced bike riders. It <br />winds through scenic eastern Hugo. It will pass by <br />lakes, farms and woodlands and travel over hills of av- <br />erage difficulty. There will be a check point with <br />refreshments sponsored by Postal Credit Union. This <br />ride is supported and starts at 9:30 am. <br />Z 3 mile <br />This route is for advanced bike riders. The bike ride <br />will go through eastern Hugo and beyond. This ride is <br />not supported. Please carry supplies to make minor <br />repairs. This ride starts at 9:00am. <br />Activities <br />Le Stretching Station <br />11:00 am- 3:00 pm <br />Take time to cool down and stretch your muscles after <br />the ride. <br />Bike Decorating Contest <br />Awards Ceremony at 12:00pm <br />Feel free to wear the French colors of red, white and <br />blue!
