It is great that you see <br />the importance of parks in <br />providing recreation oppor- <br />tunities for youth and teen- <br />agers. <br />The City of Hugo's <br />Parks Commission is a group <br />of residents appointed by <br />the City Council who looks <br />forward to hearing from <br />residents with ideas such as <br />yours. The Parks Commis- <br />sion uses all of the feedback <br />from residents to set goals <br />annually in accordance with <br />the comprehensive Parks, <br />Trails, and Open Space Plan. <br />In the near future, plans <br />include partnering with <br />more time to hunt and fish. <br />He was also the second old- <br />est firefighter at Centennial <br />when he retired at the age of <br />59. Upon arrival the of- <br />ficers located the suspect vehicle and arrested a 16 -year-old <br />Blaine juvenile for terroristic threats and disorderly conduct. <br />The juvenile male was transported to Anoka County Juvenile <br />Detention Center. <br />Vehicle theft: Police were called to a residence in the <br />7100 block of 2nd Avenue at 12:42 a.m. July for a report of <br />stolen vehicle. Two vehicles were rummaged through and an- <br />other was removed from the driveway at an unknown time. <br />A GPS and several other items were taken from the two ve- <br />hicles. The stolen vehicle was later recovered in Forest Lake. <br />An 18 -year-old male with no permanent address was later ar- <br />rested for vehicle theft and theft from a motor vehicle.
