HARDWOOD CREEK REGIONAL TRAIL MASTER PLAN
As the map illustrates, the Hardwood
Creek Regional Trail is the predominant
north -south connector through the city.
It also fills a gap in the Glacial Hills
Regional Trail corridor, as identified on
the map.
As also shown, the proposed near-term
route for the southern end of the
Hardwood Creek Regional Trail is
consistent with the local trail system
plan. (Refer to page 49 for additional
information on this alignment.)
(Map: Trail and Sidewalk Plan, Map
7-F, City of Hugo, March 15, 2010.)
An existing regional trail trailhead is
already provided in Hugo just south of
146th Street. Additional parking is also
available at City Hall, just north of this
trailhead
Hardwood Cree
Regional Trail
proposed route
(near-term)
follows Femvay
Blvd
IWashington
- County
CITY OF HUCO PARKS AND TRAILS
The City of Hugo has an adopted trail and sidewalk plan, which was
last updated in 2010. As the map illustrates, the Hardwood Creek
Regional Trail is a central feature of the local system, serving as the
predominant north -south connector through the city. It is also the main
conduit linking the local trail system with the larger regional park and
trail systems in Washington, Ramsey, Anoka, and Chisago Counties.
"
One"
--`n
Glacial Hills Regioal szno '
Trail (existing)
K 1 TH
,• 149TH Q 1 H
City Hall
y 4]
FL
Existing Hardwood
T" Creek Regional Trail
a
...........
