They city has received
property from the developer through park dedication and grading and grass seeding was
completed. A piece of playground equipment at Frog Hollow was removed and replaced with a
multi -person swing, prompted by safety concerns from residents.
Syverson provided the Parks Commission with a comprehensive description of the Hugo's
neighborhood park service areas. The Parks Commission discussed the types of parks they
would like to see in future developments, including size, proximal distance to other parks, and
amenities provided. Surprisingly, several of the
participants came from outside of Hugo. They stated that they preferred the Tour De Hugo over
other metro rides because of the route variety, scenic beauty of the routes, and supported pit
stops along the routes.
Syverson informed the Parks Commission about the showing of the Avengers for Teen Movie
Night on Friday, November 1 after school.
