III. Dog Park <br />Shayla Syverson, Parks Planner reviewed current property options suitable for a Dog Park that <br />encompassed the original criteria requirements listed in the March 13, 2013 Parks Commission <br />meeting. <br />1. Bald Eagle Industrial Park property has a large portion of delineated wetland, does not <br />meet the acreage and parking requirements. <br />2. Irish Avenue is currently a passive recreation park with no master plan defined yet. <br />Typically a dog park is not deemed an interim park use. <br />Taylor requested Lions Park and Irish Avenue park master planning be on the next parks <br />meeting agenda for discussion. <br />3. Properties for sale in the area don't meet the criteria requirement but staff will continue <br />to watch for properties that become available. <br />Commission members agreed that a guardian/volunteer organization would be crucial to its <br />success with the day to day maintenance no matter when it is planned or where it's located. <br />IV. Frog Hollow Park <br />Shayla Syverson, Parks Planner reviewed the equipment replacement needs in Frog Hollow <br />Park. <br />Taylor made a motion, Strub seconded to purchase the Volito Multi User Swing. <br />All Aye. Motion carried. <br />V. Tour de Hugo Update <br />Shayla Syverson, Parks Planner updated on the third annual Tour de Hugo bike event that will <br />be held Saturday September 14'", 2013. The event is teamed up with the Hugo Lion's Harvest <br />Festival. This season additional routes were added to encourage all types of groups to <br />participate. <br />VI. Other <br />Birch requested a current maintenance list of public property. <br />Windisch requested a bike rack be put into the Hanifl Fields Park. <br />VII. Adjournment <br />Windisch made a motion, Strub seconded to adjourn the meeting at 8:11 pm. <br />
