The City of Hugo is excited to be able to provide athletic and recreational opportunities at the new athletic park. In planning the operation of the athletic park, emphasis has been placed on ensuring that youth from Hugo will benefit as it opens in the spring of 2010 and long-term. A lot of interest has been expressed in using the fields for tournaments. The City of Hugo would like to encourage tournament use and proactively plan for it. If you wish to host a tournament or regularly use the fields, please contact us so that we may be part of the planning process to ensure that the athletic park may better serve your organization. As you plan budgets and schedules for the upcoming season, please use the following priority list and fees, which has been approved by the City Council. Priority User Fee 1 City of Hugo No fee 2 School Districts* No fee 3 Athletic Organizations affiliated with the School Districts* $40 per hour per field 4 City -based, non-profit organizations of Hugo for YOUTH $40 per hour per field 5 City -based, non-profit organizations of Hugo for ADULTS $75 per hour per field 6 Other 1 $75 per hour per field *School Districts include Forest Lake Public Schools, Mahtomedi Public Schools, Stillwater Public Schools and White Bear Lake Public Schools Thank you for your interest in using the Hanifl Fields Athletic Park.
