The Parks Commission could recommend that the City Council consider creating a wider <br />pavement section that would allow space for non -vehicular traffic. We estimated the cost of <br />adding three feet of paved surface (27 feet total) to the roadway will cost $17,000-$18,000, and <br />the funding would likely be a City responsibility. <br />Based on our review, we recommend that a trail improvement be made adjacent to 125th Street at the <br />time the properties adjacent to the roadway develop in the future. At that time, an urban -section <br />roadway will be constructed, along with City utilities as necessary. <br />Thank you for the opportunity to provide comments regarding this issue.
