Background Parks Commission Meeting of May 13, 2015 Hugo City Hall, 7:00 pm Approve Minutes fro��- 7 13. 2015 Meeting Staff recommends approval of the minutes of the Parks Commission meeting of April 8, 2015. Please see the attached minutes. 7:05 pm cable Hill Fourth Addition Park Dedication Proposaf An application has been received for a preliminary plat and PUD amendment for "Fable Hills 4th Addition" consisting of 46 detached villa homes and 14 single family detached home lots and three outlots on the 32.3 acre parcel located north of Fable Hill Road. To satisfy park dedication requirements, the applicant is proposing to make park improvements with the first phase (26 lots) and pay park dedication with the remaining phases. The applicant is also proposing to build a trail along Fable Road North connecting existing trails to the north and providing a secondary access to Clearwater Creek Preserve Park. Staff recommends the Parks Commission approve the park dedication as proposed. 7.45 nrn r1Parw-gfer (nv,- Conceof /licri.�Scinn A concept plan has been received for "Clearwater Cove" consisting of 89 single family homes on 41.5 acres off south of Frenchman Road, east of Victor Gardens East 2nd Addition. The applicant is asking for informal comments prior to application for a PUD. The development will include several significant trail connections. The applicant is proposing to pay full park dedication as well as build and donate a park to the City. Staff recommends the Parks Commission discuss the concept plan and provide feedback to the developer. No formal action is needed at this time. 8:25 pm Lions Park Plan Promotion At the meeting of April 8, 2015, the Parks Commission discussed the next steps of the Lions Park Plan. The Commission asked staff to look at holding an open house and displaying the plan at Good Neighbor Days. Staff will present options for promotion of Lions Park. 8:45 pm Adjournment
