MINUTES FOR HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING ON APRIL 18, 2016 <br /> Call to Order <br /> Mayor Weidt called the meeting to order at 7:08 p.m. <br /> PRESENT: Haas, Klein, Miron, Petryk, Weidt <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Bryan Bear, City Engineer Jay Kennedy, City Attorney <br /> Dave Snyder, and City Clerk Michele Lindau <br /> Approval of the Minutes for the April 2, 2016 Hugo Good Neighbor Food Shelf Pasta <br /> Dinner <br /> Petryk made motion, Klein seconded, to approve the minutes for the April 2, 2016 Hugo Good <br /> Neighbor Food Shelf Pasta Dinner as presented. <br /> All Ayes. Motion carried. <br /> Approval of the Minutes for the April 4, 2016 City Council Meeting <br /> Miron made motion, Klein seconded, to approve the minutes for the April 4, 2016 City Council <br /> meeting as presented. <br /> All Ayes. Motion carried. <br /> Approval of the Agenda <br /> Weidt made motion, Miron seconded, to approve the agenda as presented. <br /> All Ayes. Motion carried. <br /> Introduction of new Hugo Deputy Kelly Olson <br /> Three deputies had been transferred out of Hugo in 2016, and three new deputies are now <br /> patrolling. Council previously met Deputies Scott Zitzloff and Lee Mars. This evening, <br /> Sergeant Wayne Johnson introduced Deputy Kelly Olson, who typically works the evening shift <br /> in Hugo. Kelly stated Hugo was her first choice when selecting a contract, and she was happy to <br /> finally meet the Council. She received her degree from St. Cloud State University, and is 17 <br /> days away from receiving her Master's Degree in public safety executive leadership. The <br /> Council welcomed Kelly to the City of Hugo. <br />
