Hugo City Council Meeting Minutes for July 5, 2016 <br />Page 8 of 8 <br />Yellow Ribbon Network Update <br />Council Members Chuck Haas and Phil Klein reported to Council on the City of Hugo's Yellow <br />Ribbon Network activities. Mark Schwope, Keller William Realty, was the June sponsor for <br />Hamburger Night. Wilson Tool will be July's sponsor on July 27, 2016. A packing event is <br />scheduled for July 30, 2016 and they are in need of toiletry items, which can be dropped off at <br />City Hall. Four thousand MN National Guard Soldiers of the I" Brigade Combat Team, among <br />others, have just returned from training in the Mohave dessert. Units are deployed in Croatia, <br />Norway, Italy, and the 148' Fighter Wing is in South Korea. Also, the 125`x' Infantry Division <br />Company is leaving for Egypt. The YRN is looking for sponsors for the Welcome Home <br />Pheasant Hunt to be held on October 15, 2016. <br />Forest Lake YMCA Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on July 14, 2016 <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear reminded Council that a meeting was scheduled to attend the <br />Forest Lake Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Thursday, July 14, 1206 beginning at 9 a.m. <br />Water Summit and BBO on Thursday, July 14, 2016 <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear reminded Council that a Water Summit to include a BBQ had <br />been scheduled for Thursday, July 14, 2016; however, staff had been made aware that another <br />event is scheduled for the same evening. <br />Weidt made motion, Klein seconded, to reschedule the July 14, 2016 Water Summit. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Hugo Lions Community Golf Scramble on Sunday, August 14, 2016 <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear informed Council that the Hugo Lions Club will hold a Golf <br />Scramble on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at the Oneka Ridge Golf Course at 9 a.m. All proceeds <br />will go to the Hugo Yellow Ribbon Network. <br />Adiournment <br />Klein made motion, Miron seconded, to adjourn at 7:40 p.m. <br />All Ayes.
