Hugo City Council Meeting Minutes for July 5,2016 <br /> Page 7 of 8 <br /> maintenance agreement for the Oneka Parkway Bridge. <br /> Approve Resolution Approving Preliminary Plat and Final Plat for Bald Eagle Industrial <br /> Park 61"Addition <br /> Gary Michalski had requested approval of a preliminary plat and final plat to allow for a 9.42 <br /> acre parcel to be split into two 4.71 are parcels.According to the City Code, all subdivisions in <br /> zoning districts that are eligible for municipal sewer and water,which create two or more lots or <br /> parcels shall be platted.At its June 23,2016,meeting the Planning Commission held a public <br /> hearing and considered the request. The Planning Commission recommended approval of the <br /> preliminary plat and final plat for Bald Eagle Industrial Park 611 Addition. Adoption of the <br /> Consent Agenda approved RESOLUTION 2016-19 APPROVING A PRELIMINARY PLAT <br /> AND FINAL PLAT FOR GARY MICHALSKI FOR"BALD EAGLE INDUSTRIAL PARK <br /> 6TH ADDITION"LOCATED NORTH OF 130TH STREET AND EAST OF FENWAY <br /> BOULEVARD. <br /> Award of Bid for the Oneka Lake Boulevard/147«Street Improvement Prosect <br /> I <br /> At its May 16,2016 meeting,Council approved the resolution approving the plans specifications <br /> for the Oneka Lake Boulevard/147th Street Project and approving the advertisement for bids. <br /> WSB Project Engineer Jim Stremel informed Council that bids were received and opened on <br /> Thursday,June 30,2016 at 10 a.m. The City received six bids, and Jim explained the lowest bid <br /> was from Arnt Construction in the amount of$1,005,867.90. <br /> Haas made motion,Petryk seconded,to award the bid to Arnt Construction for the Oneka Lake <br /> Boulevard/14711 Street Project. i <br /> All ayes. Motion carried. <br /> i <br /> Update on June 27.2016 CIP Workshop <br /> The Council held a workshop on Monday,June 27,2016 to discuss street capital improvement <br /> projects. City Administrator Bryan Bear provided an update on the meeting stating there was <br /> discussion on future street CIP projects considering budget,timing, and priorities. There was a <br /> general consensus among Council to move forward with the project ranked by staff as priority <br /> one as the street reconstruction project for 2017. Priority one included Homestead Avenue, <br /> 132nd Street, Homestead Drive, and 12611 Street. Bryan suggested the first step would be to <br /> schedule a neighborhood meeting on a potential street project. <br /> i <br /> Miron made motion,Klein seconded,to direct staff to schedule a neighborhood meeting to move <br /> forward with the street project labeled by staff as priority one. <br /> All Ayes.
