MINUTES FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING ON SEPTEMBER 19, 2016 <br />Call to Order <br />Mayor Weidt called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m. <br />PRESENT: Haas, Klein, Miron, Petryk, Weidt <br />ABSENT: None <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Bryan Bear, City Engineer Jay Kennedy, City Attorney <br />Dave Snyder, Finance Director Ron Otkin, City Planner Rachel Juba, Parks Planner Shayla <br />Denaway, and City Clerk Michele Lindau <br />Approval of Minutes for the September 6, 2016 City Council Meeting <br />Miron made motion, Petryk seconded, to approve the minutes for the September 6, 2016 City <br />Council meeting as presented. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Approval of Minutes for the September 10, 2016 McCollar Park Grand Opening <br />Klein made motion, Petryk seconded, to approve the minutes for the September- 10, 2016 <br />McCollar Park Grand Opening as presented. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Approval of the Agenda <br />Weidt made motion, Haas seconded, to approve the agenda as amended by adding a presentation <br />by the Cub Scout Pack 151 and a visitor presentation by RCWD Board Manager John Waller. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried <br />Presentation by the Cub Scout Pack 151 <br />Scout Master Mark Viker, 4545 Garden Way North, requested to be added to the agenda to allow <br />Cub Scout Pack 151 to present their idea for a service project to the Hugo City Council and ask <br />for their approval. The troop explained the project would be to stencil storm drains to alert <br />people that the water down these drains end up in lakes and streams. Scoutmaster Viker <br />explained they are working in cooperation with Rice Creek Watershed District, the Conservation <br />District and Hugo staff. <br />Petryk made motion, Klein seconded, to grant the Cub Scout Troop 151 permission to do the <br />project under the guidance of City staff. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Mayor Weidt called for a short recess. <br />
