RESOLUTION 2017-8 <br />A RESOLUTION ISSUING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION OF NEED FOR AN <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT FOR ADELAIDE LANDING <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Rules 4410.1000 Subpart 2, the City of Hugo as the <br />responsible governmental unit completed an Environmental Assessment <br />Worksheet (EAW) for the Adelaide Landing project; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Rules 4410.4300 Subpart 191), the project meets the <br />thresholds for an EAW for residential development; and <br />WHEREAS, copies of the EAW were distributed to all persons and agencies on the official <br />EQB mailing list prior to February 27, 2017; and <br />WHEREAS, notice of the availability of the EAW for public review for a 30 -day comment <br />period was published in the EQB Monitor on February 27, 2017; and <br />WHEREAS, a press release was published in The Citizen on March 2, 2017, to announce the <br />availability of the EAW to interested parties; and <br />WHEREAS, the 30 -day comment period ended on March 29, 2017, and all comments received <br />have been considered; and <br />WHEREAS, the EAW, in conjunction with comments, responses, identified permitting, and <br />mitigation will address environmental effects caused as a result of the project. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Hugo hereby <br />issues a negative declaration of need for an Environmental Impact Statement for the Adelaide <br />Landing EAW. <br />Adopted this 17th day of April, 2017. <br />Tom Weidt, Mayor <br />ATTES <br />MichA Lindau, City Clerk <br />
