0 <br />MINUTES FOR THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING ON MONDAY, APRIL 17, 2017 <br />Call to Order <br />Mayor Weidt called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />PRESENT: Haas, Klein, Miron, Petryk, Weidt <br />ABSENT: None <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Bryan Bear, City Attorney Dave Snyder, City Engineer <br />Mark Erichson, Planner Rachel Juba, and City Clerk Michele Lindau <br />Minutes for the April 3, 2017 City Council Meeting <br />Klein made motion, Miron seconded, to approve the minutes for the April 3, 2017 City Council <br />meeting as presented. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Minutes for the April 8, 2017 Good Neighbors Food Shelf Pasta Dinner <br />Klein made motion, Haas seconded, to approve the minutes for the April 8, 2017 Good <br />Neighbors Food Shelf Pasta Dinner as presented. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Approval of the Agenda <br />Weidt made motion, Petryk seconded, to approve the agenda as amended by adding a <br />presentation of a Certificate of Appreciation to Sergeant Joe Stoehr and to table action on <br />Adelaide Landing Preliminary Plat and Planned Unit Development. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Introduction of New Washington County Sergeant and Investigator <br />At its April 3, 2017 meeting, the Council recognized Sergeant Wayne Johnson's retirement after <br />six years as the sergeant in Hugo. Taking his place is Sergeant Joseph Stoehr who has been with <br />the Washington County Sheriff's Office for the past 12 years, working his first six years as a <br />deputy in Hugo. Also, included in the 2017 budget, Council approved the position of a <br />Washington County investigator in Hugo. Selected to fill this position is Deputy Joe Zerwas. <br />Washington County Patrol Commander Brian Mueller introduced them to the Council. <br />Stoehr and Zerwas provided a brief background on their time with the Sheriff's Office. The <br />Council welcomed them to Hugo. <br />
