RESOLUTION 2017 -12 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR THE COMMUNITY ROADSIDE LANDSCAPING PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM. WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) wishes to provide technical and financial assistance to communities that are interested in landscaping state highway right of way through the Community Roadside Landscaping Partnership Program; and WHEREAS, the City of Hugo has applied for technical and financial assistance for re- landscaping the round -a -bout located at TH 61 and 170th Street North; and WHEREAS, MnDOT has established that they will give technical assistance and will fund up to $10,000 for the cost of materials to re -landscape the round -a -bout located at TH 61 and 170t' Street North; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUGO, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the proper City of Hugo officers to enter into MnDOT Agreement No. 1027933 for financial assistance for landscape materials to be placed in the round -a -bout located at TH 61 and 170th Street North under State project No. 8206-969 (T.H. 61 = 001).
