MINUTES FOR THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING ON MONDAY, MAY 15, 2017 <br />Call to Order <br />Mayor Weidt called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. <br />PRESENT: Haas, Klein, Miron, Petryk, Weidt <br />ABSENT: None <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Bryan Bear, City Attorney Dave Snyder, City Engineer <br />Mark Erichson, and City Clerk Michele Lindau <br />Minutes for the April 29, 2017 Kidz `n Biz <br />Klein made motion, Miron seconded, to approve the minutes for the Kidz `n Biz event on April <br />29, 2017 as presented. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Minutes for the May 1, 2017 City Council Meeting <br />Petryk made motion, Klein seconded, to approve the minutes for the City Council meeting on <br />May 1, 2017 as presented. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Approval of the Agenda <br />Weidt made motion, Miron seconded, to approve the agenda as amended by adding notice on the <br />Withrow School Celebration and removing the introduction of new Hugo Deputy Greg Reiter <br />until a later date. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Introduction of New Hugo Deputy Greg Reiter <br />This was removed from the agenda due to Deputy Reiter's inability to attend the meeting. <br />Hugo Good Neighbor Days — Lions Member Dan Balthazor <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear informed Council the Hugo Good Neighbor Days Festival will be <br />held Thursday, June 8" - Sunday, June 1 lth in Lions Park. The Lions were requesting Council <br />approve co -sponsoring the event by waiving the Special Event Permit fee and providing police <br />protection for the event, as in the past. Also for the Council to consider was approval of the <br />fireworks display and an Off -Site Gambling Permit for the Hugo American Legion to conduct <br />bingo. <br />
