BOARD OF ZONING ADJUSTMENTS MINUTES - September 28, l988 <br /> Chairman Potts called the regular meeting to order at 6:30PM. <br /> PRESENT: Ellmann , Potts, Carole LaBelle <br /> Mr. John Gross, 9915 170th St. No. , has applied to the city for a variance <br /> to construct at 40' X 120' accessory building to be constructed closer to <br /> the road than his residence. Mr. Gross owns at 40 acre tract of land zoned <br /> agriculture. He currently has a 36' X 72' accessory building and a 30' X <br /> 30' attached garage. Accessory storage in an agricultural zone on tracts <br /> of 20 acres or more in size is unlimited . The building is 370' from the <br /> road . <br /> Motion made by Potts, seconded by Ellman to recommend approval of the site <br /> plan and variance for John Gross, 9915 170th St . No. to construct at 40' X <br /> 120' accessory building subject to the following conditions~ <br /> 1 . The use of both accessory buildings is strictly limited to uses <br /> subordinate to the principal uses of a residence and farming . No <br /> commercial venture shall operate from within these buildings. <br /> 2. Any subdivision to a lot size smaller than 20 acres shall be cause for <br /> removal of the 40' X 120' sq . ft. pole barn at the owners expense. <br /> 3. No subdivision shall be approved leaving the accessory buildings on <br /> separate parcels. <br /> 4. Applicant shall pay all fees relating to this request including the <br /> cost of recording with Washington County. <br /> All aye, motion passed . <br /> Paul Husnik , owner of Lot 2, Block 2, Bald Eagle Estates has applied to <br /> the city for at variance to construct an 896 sq . ft. garage, exceeding the <br /> allowable limit by 176 sq . ft. <br /> Motion made by Potts, second by Ellman to recommend approval of the <br /> variance request by Paul Husnik to construct at garage on Lot 2, Block 2, <br /> Bald Eagle Estates exceeding the allowable limit by 176 sq . ft. <br /> All aye, motion passed . <br /> Motion to adjourn made by Ellman , second by Potts at 6:45P11. <br /> All aye, motion passed . <br /> Carole LaBelle, Secretary <br /> Board of Zoning Adjustments <br /> - <br />
